Samsung TV (un40mu6300fxza) turns on and off constantly.
My Samsung TV turns on and has a black screen, dims out and then turns off, and then repeats the process, the red light stays solid when its about to turn on and then turns off when it turns on. I took the back off and looked at all the boards and nothing looked out of place, but I'm not used to looking at these boards so I dont know whats right or wrong. Would love some answers or help.

helloimfrenzy this is an old question and without further input hard to answer. For the future and for others with the same issue, it might be helpful on how to possibly proceed. It could be a backlight array issue as well as a power board or main board issue. The way to proceed here would have been to first disconnect the wire between the power board and teh main board. The backlight should come on. If it does and if it stays on, it is most likely the main board. If it does not, it could be a power board or backlight array issue. Measuring the output voltages from the power board would have revealed more possibilities.
