Changing the license plate light bulbs

Changing the license plate light bulbs I need to change the license plate light bulbs, however I cannot remove the plastic cover. It appears that I have to remove many other parts. The owners manual does not show how to do this.

Carry it to AutoZone, buy the bulbs, and they'll install the for free.

This is the easiest method, a little tight working area but it can be done. Took it to Auto Zone, their answer was that I would have to take it to the dealership. Only way is to remove the interior cover and pull the bulbs out and then place it back inside. Said it would cost around $75. Took it to American Lube, guy did the above method and had them replaced in about 5 minutes. No charge but I gave him something for helping me out.

When you pull off the clear plastic lens you will probably tear the gasket. Make a new gasket with some gasket material and re-install. You can also use a thin coat of silicon.
