Won't Boot - Mag Safe light stays orange, even when battery unplugged

No picture, no fans spinning. I've tried the I/O cable, power pads, and unplugging the battery and connecting the charger. The SMC reset changes the light of the charger to green temporarily, so the power button is working. PRAM did nothing of course.

Please, I would like an update on the solution of this issue because I am also a victim of this problem as well. I tried changing the DC board from a working mbp still no effect. but one thing that I did observed was if I removed the MagSafe and let it run on a battery charged from another mbp, it does boot but if connected to the MagSafe it does not come on.

So I disarmed it, washed the powerjack with Flux and left the battery disconnected and violated! revived. The problem is that if I connect again the battery dies and does not want to turn on. I had to leave it a full night disconnected from battery and allowed me to turn on and update by USB to 11.13.6

I think part of it is the DC-In Board problem as well as the battery but until I get another one to try, I won’t be able to know.

Update (10/04/2018)

P.D. Conseguí un cargador MagSafe nuevo y original, de otro cliente y pasa igual , así que sigo confirmando mis sospechas con el DC-In Board

P.S. I got a new and original MagSafe charger from another customer and it's the same, so I'm still confirming my suspicions with DC-In Board"

"This is WEIRD!

I installed a fresh clean MacOS High Sierra on my MBA 2015. Worked fine.

I then turned the mac off and left it for about a month.

I came back to it just the other day, and it won't turn on.

Plugged in charger - green light at first, then red light.

Ok, I thought it'll charge a bit and turn on (even though I do remember turning the mac off before I left for my break).

Came back after 30 minutes. Still won't turn on.

Thought it was the charger. Plugged in another charger (which works for sure). Same thing.

Weird.

Did all the reset BS that I found online (SMC, SM-this, SM-that, PM, PR, all that stuff). Nothing.

Opened it up for inspection. Looks like it's brand new (seriously - I take care of my stuff like crazy! A bit OCD on these things).

Disconnected battery and reconnected it. NOTHING.

What gives?

Anyone here has a clue?
