Why won’t my GPS turn on?

my nuvi 2589 would not turn on . then tried next day and it worked but how can you rely on it to make a jouney, can’t wait till next day to see if it will work

We all see that there is a problem so, what’s the solution? My GARMIN is my baby, I always relied upon its service to get me from point A to point B and back to point A again, home. Can they be fix or are they considered throw-aways. I purchase mine from Radio Shack years ago.

this is the second garmin that wont turn on anymore,,i consider these $@$* and should have stuck with the tom tom i had for years, pilled it out of the desk after sitting for years and it still works fine, the garmin is pretty much a one year use disposable piece of crap

Their are so may reasons, why Garmin GPS won’t turn on. The main reason is the battery problem.
