Why won't my Samsung galaxy Mega turn on after screen replacement?

Why won't my Samsung galaxy Mega turn on after screen replacement? I have a Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 SGH-i527 and I had the LCD screen/ digitizer replaced. After that the phone won't go past the Samsung galaxy mega logo screen, it won't go into recovery mode but will go into download mode. Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Go to eBay. & get the LCD/frame assembly. Then transfer ur parts over.

Try to get root the phone to see if it's the problem of firmware.

often, the screen was not meant for android 4.4, if your phone has android 4.4, the the screen may not be compatible wit it. I was looking for a replecement screen for my mega, but no luck finding one for android 4.4. That is probably the problem, but i cant help, sorry
