Why my calculator is not charging?

I read on another site that if you unscrew the battery compartment, unwrinkle the cords, it will charge better. I didn't think that would work, but strangely enough, it is charging and actually working. Hope this helps.

Well my problem is that when I go to charge it the light on the side goes red and then when it automatically shuts off or I shut it off myself it goes green. And some times the light flickers when it turns on. Btw mine is a rechargeable one with a color screen

"Reset your calculator: If you turn to the back of your calculator in the mid-left you will see a small button that says reset.

Using a pen (pointy) push it and turn on the calculator again.

If this method doesn't work for you then you might have some other problem."
