Why is my tomtom not turning on?

Why is my tomtom not turning on? My tomtom one is stuck on the intro screen and keeps turning on and off on its own. It also will not let me turn is off.

it was running and when I reach my location, and turn it off, whenI got back end the car it would not turn on . the adaption is working I pluged in my c-phone , so that is working.
