Why is my camera flash not working?

Why is my camera flash not working? I turned on the flash setting for my camera but whenever I take a picture, it doesn't go off. What should I do?

First got to the setting for the camera and check to make sure that the flash is not turn on. If that's not the case then change the flash sensor on the phone.
