Why is my calculator screen faded/black?

Why is my calculator screen faded/black? I don’t use my calculator often, but I always keep it in my backpack. I pulled it out one day and noticed that my screen was faded/dark, and I have to click a button multiple times for it to work. Is my calculator broken? Is there a way to fix it?

yeah go to menu, system, f1 (contrast) and adjust the contrast of the screen to the left. I had this issue 2 mins ago and i solved it this way. toodles <3
