Transmission problems and rpm on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT?

Transmission problems and rpm on 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT?

When I'm driving my car its like it stalls when its time to take off. I tried putting it in park at every stop and it helps a little for a smoother take off. I noticed that I didn't have these problems unless I put a little transmission fluid into my car (that's what my neighbor suggested). Its been at least a few weeks now the problem is back. The rpm also jumps when I accelerate. In need of some serious help my car is starting to freak me out.

It's possibly your TCM module you can get one from the junkyard. Sometimes the car will calibrate to the TCM. Transmission control module. Sometimes you have to get them reprogrammed. I took two of them from the junkyard in one worked. In Florida the TCM gets too hot. This is why the transmission has problems. Also your radiator may have breached with the transmission fluid if your transmission fluid is pinkish you have a serious problem. I wouldn't add water if it's pink. in this case you'll need a new radiator possibly transmission also. Try pouring some Lucas transmission it will probably fix the problem. If it's not TCM.

"A live data scanner would probably show issues with the input speed signal. Should have it right when it is cold when you strt the car. May intermittently display as a P0717.

The sensor may need replacement or could be internal harness short."
