Some lights were not working, now heater not working (whirlpool)

I have a 5yo Whirlpool WDF320PADW1 dishwasher. A few lights quit working years ago on the panel but the cycles & options were still selectable and working. A few days ago the heater stopped working. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for your help!

Heating Element

Some dishwashers use a heating element to heat the dishwasher during the drying cycle. If the heating element has failed, the dishwasher won’t dry dishes properly. To determine if the heating element has burned out, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the heating element does not have continuity, replace it.
