Screen flipped and backwards

Mirror mode could be a bad connection, though finding and fixing it on a smartwatch would be challenging. I once had a satnav which kept spontaneously going into mirror mode - by squeezing it in just the right place I could sometimes get it back, but I got quite good at navigating with it like that! The video controllers in these things are generic ones which have mirror and inverted modes which are needed in a projector which may be fitted upside down on the ceiling, or used for back projection, or in any other device according to how the display is mounted and wired. There are probably a couple of pins on the controller chip which have to be wired either to ground or the supply to set the mode, and I suspect one of these is where the problem lies.
