Printer not accepting new black ink cartridge

Printer not accepting new black ink cartridge The printer was flashing that I was out of Black ink, replaced with brand new cartridge and reset, but printer will not clear and accept new cartridge. Tried replacing the new one thinking maybe I had a faulty new cartridge, but it still will not accept the new cartridge (black).
