No voice prompts from gps

No voice prompts from gps My gps does not give any voice prompt it always used to say turn left or right ect now it does not say anything the speaker is ok

Have you checked Settings > Language > Voice Language to see if a language is selected or try changing the voice language setting to another language and see if it works.

If it does, perhaps your originally selected language voice file may be missing or corrupted"
