Nexus Front Glass broken

This Nexus 4 Teardown teardown seems to be pretty close. There's most of the steps/screws you'll need. As usual, there are excellent photos.

Hi If I have broken my front glass (display still shows everything but touching does not works only at the top) can I just buy Glass Front Outer Screen Lens Replacement or do I have to buy digitizer and/or whole new LCD?

"It is possible to replace only the digitizer, however there is a lot more work that way, as the lcd and digitizer are secured to each other with adhesive. Which you will need a lot of time with a heat gun, solvent, and scrapers to remove. Afterwards it is a delicate process to replace, as it will need to be replaced and reglued, UV cured (depending on adhesive) and reassembled.

I'm getting ready to do this with my phone, but hindsight being 20/20 it's worth the extra 70 bucks to get the one already complete with lcd..."

I've got the same problem as Visgean. Front glass is broken and the touchscreen doesn't work except for a centimeter or so at the top. Buttons still work and the display is fine. What do I need to replace, where can buy it and does anyone have a link to a vid in which it's being replaced? Thanks in advance, any help will be much appreciated!
