My phone says "fully charged, diconnect charger" when it isn't.

My phone says "fully charged, diconnect charger" when it isn't. It happens to me very often. My battery is almost completely emty & I connect the charger. After several minutes it says "fully charged, diconnect charger", but afterwards it beeps again that the battery is low.

Your battery may be failing.

How old is the battery? Even rechargeable batteries have a life span.

Here is a link to some suppliers of the battery. It is not a recommendation to use them it is shown to give an indication of the price. They are not that expensive.
