Mode Control Motor (Blend Door Actuator) stuck on 1 mode

Can’t see it to well but it appears that there has been (is still?) arcing, across some of the the contacts in the assembly.

Are the contacts still as shown in the picture or clean as seen in the video you linked?

If they are still as shown in the 2nd picture, the set of contacts (shown in the picture from the bottom of the picture up) have been “joined” together and they need to be carefully separated (metal fingernail file perhaps) and cleaned so that there is no connection between them (at the burnt end anyway)

Also when finished cleaning them ensure that there is enough contact “pressure” by bending the contacts slightly upwards so that they will be exerting pressure on their mating contact when the cover is replaced, thereby ensuring a good connection
