I forgot my password?

I forgot my password? i forgot my password to my Ipod Touch 1st generation and the answers it was giving me yesterday was to hold the on/off and home button at the same time and i can't even get to the home button without the password?

my ipod touch 1st generation says ipod is disabled connect to iTunes but I haven't got iTunes on my window 7 computer please may you tell me how to get onto my ipod and start using it again . Many thanks Jordan the owner of the ipod touch
