Help me, there are a few ways that you can try. Some will delete that data on the drive (which in your case might be a good thing). Try this : Plug the iPod into computer.Hold down the power button for about 5 seconds until you see the "slide to power off button". Slide the red button.Immediately hold down both power and home buttons until you see the apple logo.
