How do I fix an unresponsive white screen?

How do I fix an unresponsive white screen? I have an unresponsive screen which is the color of white , how do I fix the screen and what are the steps?

I have the same problem so I press the return button which works for me,I do the same for nearly all the screens that get stuck. I am unable to do this to the black screen which is far too quick to turn black I hope this works for you,has anybody got a solution to stop the black screen returning when I am trying to view another app?
