Flashing red light on joystick

Flashing red light on joystick Yesterday, on my ancient but trusty T630, a red light started to flicker regularly. I don’t remember seeing this before. Today after turning it on, the light is gone again. Could someone tell me the meaning of this light? I have looked in the user manual and can not find anything!

The phone is turned off and put on the charger every night. It has to be off, because for some reason it has a problem charging correctly if the phone is on. So I don’t think it would be a low battery - the battery icon didn’t indicate it anyway. I suppose it could be a glitch of some sort that resolved overnight? Anyway, I appreciate your taking the time to answer!"
