E100 Code on start up and wont apply Update

E100 Code on start up and wont apply Update Hi, I've got an issue with my Xbox One console. when I turn on the Xbox it doesn't give me the start up green screen. It goes straight to something went wrong and gives me a error E100 code. I was wondering is this a Hard Drive Issue? OR a Disk Drive issue. I really don't want to buy a new Xbox. Hope someone can tell me the issue thanks in advance.

You need to make sure you have the original disk drive (they are married to the mother board) and make sure it is plugged in.

With my brothers Xbox one all he did was take it apart and unplug the hard drive and plug it back in. Worked like a charm. Wouldn’t try this with the Xbox one S
