All replacement batteries have 4 wire(and connector)

All replacement batteries have 4 wire(and connector)

I bought battery but what I was sent has same voltage and capacity but 4 wires instead of 3( also wrong connector).Would this work if wired to old 3 wire connector. I checked 3 other places and all show same 4 wire battery.
