"I took both cameras apart and removing the bottom plate of the X100F is way easier than with the X100T. You just need to remove 5 screws in the bottom. One at the battery compartment and the four remaining ones on the opposite side – leave the two at the tripod mount where they are for now. You can then remove the bottom plate. If you need you can unscrew the tripod mount to move it to the new bottom plate.
