Service Tool for Canon MG2560

I need a service tool that is compatible with Canon MG2560 printer to reset ink overflow error 5B00. I have seen reference to V3800 but cannot find. It would be great if someone could help with sourcing this or equivalent.

"Since 5B00 is for waste ink, do not reset the counter until it has been fixed. Consumer inkjets like this don't give much room (if any) to budge between the error and reserve pad to account for end user resetting.

This warning (more cryptic variant) is the semi common error - other Canon models will tell you outright. The issue with repair is parts cost, or time. A new set of pads can total out the printer (or it requires a lower base), or time you can spend removing the pads but either way, you often need to do a full disassembly on the Canon models with integrated pads. Before I got a dedicated scanner with an ADF (necessity, thanks to Epson “security updates” - aka clone cartridge blocking firmware) and HP Dynamic Security (not as bad on the LJ series, but the Deskjet and OfficeJet dynamic security machines get more frequent updates), this class of warning was grounds to retire a Canon printer even as a scanner. These often hard stop even for scanning with the waste ink errors!!! It wasn’t a chance I would take willingly. Frankly, I’m happier with my SJ Pro 2500 f1 and Perfection V39* then the printers.*I have this for high detail album artwork, and photos. Epson scanners are the best of the breed for this, which is why the firmware bombing made me so angry.

If you do not need color, find a mono laser with a descent toner yield on the “full” cartridge (2,500-3,000+ pages) and stop bothering with inkjet printers."
