NEW IPad 3 4G touch not responding after digitizer replacement

"It was the part about pushing that ribbon in ALL THE WAY until the lines are no longer visible that fixed it. The prayers I'm sure helped, too.

the ribbon cables for the lcd and digitizer must be pushed right in...I mean right in... so you cant see the white line drawn on the outside of the ribbon connector. Then all will be ok...Well thats what worked for me

"I think the problem is not the cleaning but the dust and wind.

I wold clean with LCD spray and good quality cloth - like the one you get with good screen protector.

But the work area must be clean.

Is the digitizer you bought good as the original.

have you tried the same digitizer on another ipad3, if it works, then you know its not the digitizer its the ipad itself, then you can check for any damage or them pesky little shards of glass getting in the way ( had it before - made a simple job very difficult)
