LCD screen scratched on Lumix DMC-FZ18

LCD screen scratched on Lumix DMC-FZ18 The screen on my DMC-FZ18 camera is scratched. I thought that it needed a new LCD, but after dismantling, I found that it is the “window” part of the rear case that has the scratch.

Querty you can most certainly try and it should not make it worse. I use 1200 grit wet sandpaper to remove scratches on a acrylic aquarium and light cover. Afterward I use metal polish to buff it.
