iPhone stuck on "waiting for iPhone" when trying to restore from DFU

iPhone stuck on "waiting for iPhone" when trying to restore from DFU I have a dead iphone. Managed the charge the iPhone externally, and itunes detects it in DFU mode, but the screen stays black. When I try to restore, it gets stuck on "waiting for iPhone". Eventually getting error 4014 when unplugging.

Error 4014 on the iPhone 6 is usually caused by a corrupted NAND. This can be repaired but it does require a micro-soldering repair as you suspected.

That seems bad. I would be scared that’s board level. Try first new PC. new cable.
