I can’t get the display to com on it did before

What plugs on motherboard were it says com 1 . I can’t get the display on I installed Windows 10 on a 1 tb hard drive on a different computer. I am using that hard drive on this one . Why won’t display com on. I hear the Pc boot up sound normal

"Hi Jason,

First of all what is the make and model of your motherboard so we can get an idea of what you are talking about.

Second, “COM 1” is a serial data port. It is nothing to do with video.

Thirdly, you can’t just move ahard drive from on computer to another, as simply as that.

Why? Well for starters because of different chipsets, video display cards, memory type, etyc., etc., etc.

Then as well Windows is “joined” to the particular computer it was installed on.
