"@sbba1618 make sure that the locking mechanism is fully engaged. Sometimes it helps to push down a bit on the battery and see if that releases it. If that does not work, use a pair of hemostats or tweezers and try to pull it out with the release lever engaged.

If your battery is older it may have swollen slightly, generally that's because you need to stop using that battery it's time to get another, AND the tweezers can work better if you warm the camera up, like put it near your body if your out so that there is less tug hassle.
