The Conference aims to:
- provide a venue for the participants to identify the common communication needs of early learners;
- promote learning activities among them which will help address problems on communication skills;
- introduce innovative teaching strategies which will enhance the teachers’ capacity to improve the speech communication skills of every learner; and
- present to them the situation of speech communication education locally and internationally.
The target participants to this activity are the kindergarten, preschool and primary teachers, special education (SPED) teachers, schools division/city superintendents (SDSs), administrators/school heads (SHs), division and regional supervisors, day care workers, social welfare and development officers, advocates and other officials and stakeholders from both public and private sectors.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of¬classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
