- The Search Committee at the regional level evaluates the nomination forms based on the eligibility criteria, determines if the documents submitted are complete, and scores entries based on agreed criteria.
- Previous nominees listed in enclosure No. 6 are still qualified and should update their documents.
- The Search Committee recommends the Regional finalist for each category (leach for EsP, AP and EPP), or Regional topnotchers, who will move to the national level of the SEARCH, for confirmation by the Board of Judges. It will be broken as follows:
LUZON (7 regions = 21 finalists) - Region I (Ilocos); Region II (Cagayan Valley); Region III (Central Luzon); Region IV-A (CALABARZON); Region IV-B (MIMAROPA); Region V (Bicol); CARNCR (6 finalists) - From the 16 DivisionsVISAYAS (3regions = 9 finalists) - Region VI (Western Visayas); Region VII (Central Visayas); and Region VIII (Eastern Visayas)MINDANAO (6 regions = 18 finalists) - Region IX (Zamboanga Peninsula); Region X (Northern Mindanao); Region XI (Davao Region); Region Xli (SOCCSKSARGEN); Region XIII (CARAGA); ARMM
B. FINAL JUDGING
The Selection Committee at the National Level (composed of 3 DepEd Personnel and 2 from BSP) selects from the fifty four (54) regional finalists the twelve (12) national finalists, three (3) each for Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR, who will vie for the GURO ng PAG-ASA Award (in EsP, AP and EPP)
- The Board of Judges (BOJ) reviews the nomination forms of the twelve (12) national finalists, 4 each from the three categories. Then, from the 12 national finalists, the GURO ng PAG-ASA Winners in the three categories will be selected through interview and demonstration teaching.
