The Training-Workshop aims to:
- disseminate to the participants the museum’s knowledge and scientific expertise in the area of natural history by providing experiential learning in an outdoor environment;
- encourage them better appreciation of nature and natural heritage conservation; and
- strengthen them awareness of the vast cultural heritage.
The target participants to this activity are Science teachers, teacher-educators, students, nature lovers, environmentalists, tourists and museum enthusiasts from both public and private sectors.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
