The Congress aims to:
- provide the participants with effective medium in the development of science and technology concepts;
- undertake science activities which will enhance their creativity, understanding and exchange of novel ideas;
- promote their academic excellence in science through scientific research;
- instill in their minds an atmosphere of sound competition, camaraderie, sportsmanship; and
- give recognition to the winners and researchers of science investigatory project.
All write-ups of the Science Investigatory Project, Science Action Research, Improvisation of Science Equipment and Innovation of Science Instructional Aid First Place, Regional Winner shall be sent for pre-judging to SCAAP Secretariat, Rm. 424 GA Tower 1 corner EDSA Boni Avenue, Mandaluyong City on or before February 2, 2013.
The target participants to this activity are the pupils, students and teachers from both public and private elementary and secondary schools nationwide.
Participation of both public and private schools shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled Instituting Measures to Increase Engaged Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.
