In view of this, the officers and members of the Alliance of Concerned Teachers (ACT) will hold its nationally-coordinated Assembly on September 12, 2012 at the House of Representatives, Constitution Hills, IBP Road, Quezon City.
The Assembly aims to bring the issue of upgrading the salary of teachers and employees to the attention of the members of the House of Representatives.
The Representative-Elect of the ACT Teachers Party List will give a privilege speech regarding this concern.
The National Capital Region (NCR) participants will converge at the corner of the Batasan Road and Commonwealth Avenue to hold a mass delegation towards the Batasang Pambansa Complex.
Participation of teachers shall be subject to the no-disruption-of-classes policy as stipulated in DepEd Order No. 9, s. 2005 entitled "Instituting Time-on-Task and Ensuring Compliance Therewith.”
