Series of Lectures on Literary Theory for Teachers

The Far Eastern University-Center for Continuing Education (FEUCCE) announces its series of public lectures on Literary Theory for Teachers on May 9-13, 2011 at the Institute of Arts and Sciences Seminar Room, FEU, Nicanor Reyes Street (formerly Morayta), Sampaloc, Manila.
These lectures aim to acquaint the teachers with the fundamentals of literary theory, from its beginnings in China to its latest development on Ecocriticism and Wikcrit. These will focus on the way literary stories can be applied in practice to understand and to teach literary texts and other narratives in films.

The participants to this activity are secondary and tertiary level teachers of literature in English or in Filipino.

A registration fee of Five Hundred Pesos (PhP500.00) per lecture will be charged to each participant inclusive of Certificate of Attendance. Payment may be deposited at any Bank of Philippine Islands (BPI) Branch to be addressed to FEU Account No. 1781-0001-18.
