In response to the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, the University of
the Philippines (UP) Law Center in Popularizing the Law (POPLAW)
Program prepared selected modules in law, the content of which could be
integrated in the different learning areas in basic education
particularly in Social Studies, Values Education and Science Education.
In the implementation of this program, the UP Law Center offers free seminars to the school administrators, supervisors, principals, and teachers in the different regions in the country. The modules listed below shall be addressed in the three (3)-day seminar: - Module 1: Constitution of the Philippines
- Module 2: Human Rights
- Module 3: Child Rights
- Module 4: Public Accountability
- Module 5: Common Offenses
- Module 6: Law on Family Relations
- Module 7: Environmental Law
- Module 8: Special Criminal Laws
- Module 9: Teaching Law-Related Studies in Basic Education
As an initial activity for the National Capital Region (NCR), the specific dates to be determined by NCR and venues are suggested below: Group
