PhilHealth Warns about Fake e-Receipts

The Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) announced that fake POEA-OWWA-PhilHealth e-receipts having series nos. 5059001H to 506000H are circulating in the Philippines.
PhilHealth President and CEO Dr. Rey B. Aquino said that these e-receipts are found to have been printed in 2 sets. The Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) is now investigating the case.

The POEA has already informed the Bureau of Immigration (BI) and airport operatives about this situation, therefore, persons found possessing such kind of fake e-receipts will be placed in the watchlist.

PhilHealth advises all PhilHealth members under Overseas Workers Program to check and verify the authenticity or genuineness of their e-receipts at the Overseas Workers Program - Special Programs Department in order to avoid inconvenience in the availment of PhilHealth benefits.
