To ensure that Sponsored Program (SP) members under the National Household Targeting System for Poverty Reduction (NHTS-PR) of the DSWD are able to avail themselves of health insurance benefits, all accredited Institutional Health Care Providers (IHCPs) must verify the membership and eligibility status of the members through any of the following means:
  • Sign up for access to our IHCP Portal by downloading the Online Access form from http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/circulars/2012/circ02_2012.pdf
  • Access the NHTS-PR list from http://www.philhealth.gov.ph/members/sponsored/nhts-pr_list.html
  • Match member’s PhilHealth ID Number, name, date of birth, and list of declared dependents with the hard or soft copies of the NHTS-PR list provided by our Regional or Service Offices
  • Call (02) 441-7442
  • Email us at info@philhealth.gov.ph
The SP members under the NHTS-PR list who are admitted in accredited government facilities are entitled to the No Balance Billing (NBB) privilege for confinements due to any of the 23 medical conditions and surgical procedures being
paid for under the case rate system.

They are also entitled to Special  Packages covering treatment for tuberculosis, malaria, SARS, Avian Influenza, Novel Influenza, HIV/AIDS, among others. Soon, the Primary Care Benefits shall also be provided to them.
