From February 12-14, 2012, PhilHealth accepted 23,000 online applications nationwide for the PhilHealth Customer Assistance, Relations and Empowerment Staff (CARES) Project. The PhilHealth CARES nurses will be deployed to all level 3 and 4 accredited hospitals and levels 1 to 2 accredited government hospitals only. They will provide onsite assistance to members, address issues and queries on membership, eligibility and benefits availment and conduct surveys and studies developed by PhilHealth.
The PROs were provided with the list of pre-qualified applicants per region based on the selection criteria set by PhilHealth and transmitted the final matrix with ranking of applicants last March 23, 2012.
The Training of Trainors was conducted by the Human Resource Department in coordination with the PhilHealth CARES Project Team last March 20-22, 2012, while the ten-day Competency Training Program for the PhilHealth CARES will be conducted simultaneously in the regions from April 16-27, 2012.
