The Advocacy Program aims to:
- help the school canteen managers, housewives, parents, cooks, househelps and the whole family and students to have a better appreciation and understanding what good quality meat is and where it should be bought; and
- provide booklets on meat, how animals are properly grown in the farms, how they were butchered, how they are preserved until it reaches the kitchens in every canteens or homes.
In this connection, the "Know Your Meat Caravan” will be conducted in the National Capital Region (NCR), Regions III, IV-A, Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR)-Baguio, VII- Cebu City, X-Cagayan de Oro City, and XI- Davao City . Actual discussions will be held with different topics.
One of the features of the Caravan is the exposition and explanation on the goodness of meat, why it is necessary for growth, mental development and stamina by an expert nutritionist.
