Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) Events

The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) in Berlin, Germany will hold an international conference and weeklong seminars on the following dates and venues:

The objectives of these events are to:

1. explore the relationship between cultures, international relations, and globalization;
2. bring together artists and practitioners from the fields of culture, literature and music;
3. explore the role of cultural diplomacy in contemporary international relations;
4. provide an excellent opportunity for young people to expand their knowledge on current and future developments in art, music, international relations, peace studies, political issues and diplomacy; and
5. provide a venue for the participants to take part in cultural and social activities during the conference and seminars.
   

The participants to these events are young professionals, students and scholars, governmental and diplomatic officials, civil society practitioners, private sector representatives, journalists, and other interested stakeholders from across the world. These events will consist of lectures, workshops, group discussions and cultural excursions featuring leading figures from the fields of politics, the arts, academia, media and business.
