FROM CONSCIOUS TO CONFIDENT: IMPROVE YOUR PRESENTATION SKILLS NOW! SEMINAR

The EducAid Professional Services and Events Management (EducAid), an organization conducting in-house and stand-alone trainings, seminars, and workshops, will hold a presentation skills seminar entitled From Conscious to Confident: Improve Your Presentation Skills NOW! on August 27, 2011 at the Bahay Kalinaw, University of the Philippines (UP), Diliman, Quezon City. The seminar aims to help the participants become better presenters in personal conversations or public engagements. Specifically, the participants are expected to learn how to deliver powerful presentations by being mindful of the following:

1. the types of presentations as well as the requirements of each type;
2. how to prepare for the "Ps of Presentation" (Purpose, People, Place, Poise and Posture);
3. how to open a presentation;
4. how to organize data in presentations;
5. how to retain audience's attention; and
6. how to use visual cues such as props and body language.
   

The participants to this seminar are school administrators, chairpersons/department heads, and teachers of English and Filipino. The scholars and teachers of related disciplines in all levels may attend as well.

A registration fee of Two Thousand Pesos (PhP2,000.00) will be charged to each participant to cover expenses for the training kit, certificate and meals. Accommodation is not included. Slots are limited, and pre-registration is requested. Those who will register on or before July 15, 2011 will get a 10% discount.
