Self-Awareness For Entrepreneurs: Its Importance.

Self-Awareness For Entrepreneurs: Its Importance.
"""Many people have been striving for the same goal ever before Tim Ferriss wrote The Four Hour Work, in which he popularized the idea of a lifestyle business.

You can start a business, automate it, hire a virtual assistant, and earn money while you sleep or travel the world, isn't that appealing?

Everyone desires it, which is why many people have made it their mission to instruct you on how to do it.

""If you follow these 20 steps, you'll make six figures.""
Get this online training, and you can simply become wealthy without putting in any effort.
""I get $100,000 in passive money each month while traveling the world. Here's how I do it.""

But being an entrepreneur is not simple.
Perhaps you're tired of working a 9 to 5 job and want more freedom and control over your own schedule.

These are all good reasons to launch a business, but you need a little more.

According to Google, the statistic that 96% of enterprises fail after ten years is unsupported by research; it was likely made by one person once, and then everyone else imitated them.

That being said, there is some validity to the idea that entrepreneurship is a long-term endeavor.

Are you an entrepreneur or do you wish to start a business?

I've started firms that have failed in the past, but you know, I'm still an entrepreneur. The latter is something you do for the rest of your life.

Being an entrepreneur is something you are, not something you do.
What are you trying to figure out about yourself?

Building a solid profession or business requires self-awareness, although this post is about entrepreneurship, but you can apply it to everything in life.

Seneca states in Letters From A Stoic:

""You must take into account whether your nature is more suited to calm study and meditation or to practical effort, and you should incline in the direction your natural faculty and disposition carry you.""
Too frequently, we act inappropriately due to pressure from others, money, our reputation, or other factors.

However, it is much preferable to follow your nature in life, however you must first be aware of it.

Build your life then around who you are rather than what you or others want you to be.

For instance, I've always had a side business. As a child, I recall copying CDs, making booklets, and selling them for a discount. It wasn't exactly legal, but hey, I didn't know any better. That's just who I am.

So who are you?
Ask some questions to yourself.

What makes me desire to launch a business?
Do I really want to be an entrepreneur, or am I merely drawn to the benefits (freedom, time, money)?
As an entrepreneur, you need to have a fundamental understanding of everything that takes place in your company.
If you're considering starting a business, attempt to talk to some existing business owners and find out what they do on a typical day.

Make a decision after giving it some thought, not after viewing a video from a moron who claims to be living ""the life"" or after perusing Instagram for inspirational sayings.

That is fiction, not entrepreneurship.

It takes work to start a business, but it's not impossible, and anyone who puts their mind to it can succeed.

It took me two business degrees to grasp this straightforward tactic: Just take the time to reflect on who you are, then start small.

The world is not new; therefore, if there is no need for your goods, it is usually because people don't care.
Stick to only one product or service; you don't need complicated things with 10,000 different iterations.
Sell it. Yes, business owners are essentially independent salespeople.
That's all, and if you want to offer new products, always go through the same procedure.""" - https://www.affordablecebu.com/
