Luzon Hydro Corporation (LHC), the operator and manager of the 70 MW Bakun AC hydroelectric power plant (the "Bakun Plant”), informed Aboitiz Power Corporation that it received a Notice of Occurrence of Default from the National Power Corporation (NPC) in relation to the delay in the completion of the tunnel lining repair of Bakun Plant which has caused the prolonged downtime of LHC.
LHC is currently endeavoring to address and discuss the issue with NPC in order to mitigate the effects of Bakun Plant’s prolonged downtime. As previously disclosed, LHC expects the repairs to be completed by October of this year and will immediately resume operations thereafter. - https://www.affordablecebu.com/
