Why won't my Roku turn on?
There is no power to the Roku.
ANSWERS:
If your Roku device will not turn on, the first thing to do is to make sure that the device is plugged in and that the power cord is seated properly. If you've done this and it still won't turn on, don't panic. You can consult the Roku XD troubleshooting page for more possible solutions.

Remove batteries from the remote. Hold down every single button on the remote for five seconds. Then, replace the batteries.

Yep unplugged the TCL Roku tv and wouldn't power back on. Just for giggles I followed one of the instructions above. Hold all the buttons down at once. Bravo! It
If your Roku device is not getting on then you need to be reset both Remote and Roku device.
I've had the same problem try disconnecting all your HDMI ports and leave them unplugged until your screen goes to the home screen
I had this same problem. The light on the bottom was lit but the tv woulsn’tturn on. I tried the button on the TV as well as unplugging, and nothing changed. I don't understand why or how it works but I took the batteries if the remote out, held all the buttons down. Once I put the remote back together and pressed the power button it turned on! Weird.
