Where can I purchase a replacement LCD?

Where can I purchase a replacement LCD?

My Harmony One remote fell face-down on tile floor and the LCD now looks like a work of modern art. I called support and was disappointed to learn that they do not repair their own products, nor do they have any information about 3rd party repair places. They also don't sell replacement parts (shocker). All they offer is a 3 month warrantee that replaces broken products... Well I've had this remote for a year and a half and was really hoping to keep using it!

ANSWERS:

"Short answer: Nowhere! :(

Longer answer:

I was searching for more than a year and it seems not to be possible to get this $%*§ display. Logitech wants to sell new products, they don't want to repair old ones, and they also don't want others to repair it. The display was produced for H1 only, and cancelled with the end of H1.

Sad greetings.

PS. sometimes you can find spare-remotes on ebay, this seems to be the only chance"

This site specializes in them and claims to have replacements available shortly.

I had the same problem, they suggested buying one of their newer models. This was my reply:

Visit www.harmonyremoterepair.com for information on Harmony One LCD replacement parts and/or services

The Harmony One LCD's from Harmonyremoterepair.com work very well. I have used two of these. Word of caution though, and this is stated on the repair web site. The replacement LCD is only good on the version 7.4 modules, and NOT for the 7.2 version modules. Before purchase you should follow the video guidance on the repair site to dismantle the remote and check the module version. Soldering skills are also required and the LCD w/ the Chip Quick soldering aid option is required to effectively remove the old LCD without damage.
