ANSWERS:
I had this happen. I switched inputs on the back of the TV to my hdmi (firestick) and did the factory reset from that screen. do the reset- hold down the down arrow and power button (from back of tv) for 10-15s and the menu pops up. it let me use my remote after and everything seems to be working.
My vizio TV will not reset
JUST bought this TV. Stuck on the “where is your Vizio TV located” screen. Unplugged it…didn’t hold the power button because come on…there's no power. Waited 30 minutes. Tried again. Got to that screen and it's stuck again. Only button on the remote that works is the power button. Appears this “smart” TV isn't even mildly clever.
