LG 49UH770V - Standby light on but no display

Hi Guys, i have an LG 49UH770V LED TV which is roughly 2 years old. Has been working perfectly until i powered the TV on and the display did not turn on. The standby light is solid red and when i press the power button on the remote or TV the red light flashes once and stays solid red again.
