Why does my brand new Keurig click when off?

Why does my brand new Keurig click when off?

Brand new keurig elite from Costco as a gift. Makes a clicking noise every 30 seconds to a minute or two when power button is off. Not the worse thing but I unplug it a night time. Thanks
